Presents for me!
I spent part of the day with the lovely Sister Mary Mae. After discussing the video project for a bit, she rummaged through her closets and sent me home with lots of wonderful gifts including a pair of pretty platforms, two colour palettes, a make-up case and a gold shirt. Yay generous Sisters!

This is the best way that I've found to be the best you've ever seen
This Wednesday is the Sisters' monthly general meeting. It's a special occasion because myself and four others are all seeking elevation to Novice Sister. This is the single most important step in the process: after this, every thing is going to change.

I called around to several Sisters this evening asking for feedback and advice. One of the Sisters asked me if I was ready. Oh yes, yes I am. I'm ready and willing and very, very excited.

Yesterday was the monthly Penny Drive. This Penny Drive was unique in that it was scheduled to last from 9am until about 5pm: a Penny Drive marathon, if you will. Like so many other public service groups, the AIDS Emergency Fund — the charity we collect the money for — has recently taken a hit in the latest round of budget cuts. They have much less money to give to the people who need it.

I was up around 10 am, tired and certainly not ready to go out and be Sisterly. However, once I got out of the shower and started applying foundation, I found my spirits lifted and I was full of energy. read further…
